Some people might say, why bother making healthy food for a special occasion like a Super Bowl party? Well, if you can still have delicious, rich, yummy food AND feel good the next day, why not?
Even if you just replace one regular recipe with one of these renovated recipes, you’re doing yourself and all your friends and family a big favor.
Will macho guys eat these “hot wings”? Maybe not, but there’s plenty of other options to tempt them. (Don’t try to pass them off as chicken. Call them spicy snack bites.)
Here’s my menu for a healthy Super Bowl party:
Choose 3 dishes for 6-8 people. For every 2-4 extra people, add another dish.
Flavored seltzer water with plenty of lemon and lime for people who don’t drink
Chunky mango salsa ( you can use plums or pears at this time of year instead of the nectarines)
Veggie tray with extra “ranch” dressing
