Gluten-free/GFCF Recipe is gluten-free/casein-free and is suitable for celiacs, gluten-sensitive eaters, and children on the autism spectrum whose families are following the GFCF diet. ALL recipes on my site are gluten-free.
Low-sodium/Meniere’s Disease Recipe has been analyzed using MyFitnessPal.com and contains less than 140 mg sodium per serving
I keep my sodium intake between 1000-1200 mg / day which has greatly improved my Meniere’s symptoms.
Low-tyramine Recipe follows low-tyramine list published by the National Headache Foundation July 2010, and is suitable for anyone following the low-tyramine diet (migraine patients and patients following MAOI diet).
Migraine diet Recipe follows the original guidelines set out in Heal Your Headache by David Buchholz, M.D., plus is gluten-free, completely sugar-free (may contain stevia only), follows modified paleo principles, and has no salt added. This removes all known migraine triggers, based on his experience of three decades with migraine patients.
I improved upon his plan by adding anti-inflammatory principles and my book recommends following it for at least four months before testing possible trigger foods to add them back. The goal is not to live on the strict version of my Plan forever, but to use it to determine what foods (if any) you may wish to avoid. Please follow any special notes in the recipe for migraine diets.
Nut-free Recipes are free of tree nuts.
Paleo Recipe follows general paleo/ancestral diet principles: full-fat organic dairy products, local eggs, pastured meats, wild-caught fish, no grains, no sugar.
I personally include quinoa, millet, teff, and amaranth because they are pseudo-cereals and high in protein, and beans as allowed on the migraine diet.
Raw Recipes for people following a raw foods diet.
Soy-free Recipes contain no ingredients made from soybeans.
Vegetarian/Vegan Vegetarian recipes may include eggs and dairy products. Vegan recipes include no animal products.
